The wreck of the Wyre Majestic at Bunnahabahainn makes an ideal foreground for The Paps of Jura. The old trawler sailed out of Fleetwood and was owned by a company I once worked for.
Built in 1956 by Cochranes at Selby the 127ft trawler weighing 338 tons ran aground at full steam on the 18th October 1974. This was the third time she had been aground the other occasions were both on the Mull of Galloway
