My interest in landscape photography stretches back over a period of forty years, during which time I have had many images and articles on monochrome printing published.
My passion for monochrome photography goes back to the 1970's when I constructed my first darkroom in the family bathroom. Quite soon after that in order to save my marriage I built one at the bottom of the garden. This soon led to many awards including "Ilford Monochrome Printer of The Year
" in 1996.
I have since been carried screaming and shouting into the digital age and with the darkroom gone I now print digitally. Not as some will say an easier option, simply a whole different set of skills.
Since retirement I have returned to entering my landscape prints into National and International Salons.
